Six Paddocks
Six paddocks is a small-scale, chemical free farm located in Merriwa.
While our flagship product is turmeric, we also grow a range of other produce. Annual crops that have become a staple in our paddocks include garlic, ginger, pumpkins, pixzee peaches and a mix of citrus (but we’re always adding to our crops).
We grow a range of herbs that we use in herbal teas – although we also sell them fresh at markets when they are in excess.
Seasonally, we grow things such as chillies, rosellas and blueberries.
Throughout the year we have salt bush (fresh and dried) which we believe is an under valued but highly sustainable herb and pairs beautifully with any tomato dish.
We’d like to tell you we can supply something year on year but we work with the seasons and with climate change. Whatever goes in the ground is at the mercy of the climate and the discretion (and whim) of owner, Liz Griffiths.
