Details: Our turmeric is organically grown turmeric (please be aware we are not certified organic). We have two varieties (allepy and madras). Our madras variety is yellow, pungent and makes the most wonderful turmeric rice recipe. It can be used in yellow curries, to colour ice cream and other sweet dishes.
We have been growing turmeric since 2011. We process our turmeric by hand. It is processed to Indian Government standards (which we find to be the highest standard). We process our turmeric locally, taking it from the ground to the jar (it never leaves our sight). To ensure quality and consistency, we do not outsource any part of the process.
